🦋My Garden Diary🦋

My blog is a personal reflection of things I love, embrace and wish to focus on. Such as gardening, love for nature, inspirational, spiritual development and charity. These are the very components that knits together my personality.

Why Create a blog when there’s social media?
I am not totally ruling out social media, but the idea of creating my own space and becoming more versatile has long dawned upon me, especially being some-one who appreciates depths, calm and creativity. I look forward to using this platform in a way that helps preserves my ‘authenticity ‘as a documentation of my activities and in a way that helps preserves my ‘authenticity’, and a documentation of my activities.. How I Got my name!
I was given the name “Dgentle Gardener” during the early stages of my gardening career, back in 2013 by one of my Facebook followers  “Adam Peacook” a very kind gentleman. He was of the opinion that my then gardening name was not appealing to my appearance, and further suggested I had more the likeness of a “gentle gardener”. This was the moment my garden name“dgentlegardener” was given birth and has since helped in perpetuating my gardening identity. Sometimes the strangest connections can bring about the most meaningful results.

Spending time in nature and gardening brings me to an healing calm and forges a place of escape during times of chaos.

Butterflies are a beautiful representation of spiritual rebirth, transformation, change and hope …

Learning to appreciate the uniqueness of ones ‘individuality’ I believe is by far the ‘highest’ form of achievement and self love!. If fitting in means the unfortunate compromise of identity or truth, I unapologetically renounce such engagements or pursuit. I do believe substantial transformation initially leads to productive growth and meaningful change, and such change should never be rebuked!

The more you nourish the life of others through love, the more your own soul becomes fertile with happiness

In learning to embrace everything in life as lessons, you become morally and intellectually richer. Life on its own is a school in which our experiences teaches us, even our mistakes. Never be to proud or reluctant to learn or take corrections, for in doing such we eventually reach our full potential called “GROWTH”!

Nurturing my daughters growth has been one of my riches blessings.

The success of my gardening has to do with a combining effort of doing what I love with passion, topped with a gentle smile and blessings from the most high 🙂 . Not forgetting being humble enough to learn from others and refusing to give up when things goes wrong. Persistence prevails!

Working in the garden comes with many elevating benefits..  It has not only enhanced my spirituality but helped in improving my general outlook on life. Gardening teaches us priceless values such as “there is a quiet strength in humility.”

I don’t want to waist my time trying to fight for what’s not mines”, I don’t want to lose myself in some-one elses dreams”.

After many diversion contemplation and pray I am taking this step of “Faith”, and my only desire is that it serves to uplift and inspire others.

“Be the one who nurtures and builds. Be the one who has an understanding and a forgiving heart one who looks for the best in people. Leave people better than you found them.”
